Physicist - optics/laser research for quantum sensor technology
Your area of responsibility
Independent conceptual design, construction and characterization of complex laser systems
Qualification of prototypes
Documentation of development work and technical results
Communication with partners along the value chain
Accompanying the development of new products from the idea to series production
Your profile
Degree in physics, photonics or a comparable course of study with a focus on optics or laser technology (preferably with a doctorate)
Practical experience in the development and use of laser systems required, preferably for high-resolution laser spectroscopy
Good knowledge in the fields of diode lasers, optics and non-linear optics and ideally in electronics
Independent, structured and results-oriented way of working
Good knowledge of written and spoken German and English
